At Harvest Baptist Church, we stand on what God says we should be. Those beliefs are crucial as to who we are in Christ and the world.
What We Believe
Trinity:
One God existing in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit
Jesus Christ is both fully divine and fully human, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died for humanity's sins, and rose from the dead.
Salvation is a gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ, and is not earned through good works.
Bible is the inspired word of God and the ultimate authority for faith and practice. We believe the closest version to the original texts in the Authorized King James Version of the Bible.
Only those who have made a personal profession of faith in Jesus Christ should be baptized, and it should be done by immersion, where the person is fully submerged in water.
Each Baptist church is self-governing and makes its own decisions regarding leadership, membership, and practices.
All believers have direct access to God and can pray to Him without the need for a human mediator.

God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society.
Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime according to biblical standards, and the means for procreation of the human race.
